Stephanie Buck is an award-winning professional storyteller. She believes that making space for every person's story and treating human experiences with dignity helps us forge profound connections with our communities. Stephanie helps tell the stories of patients and care teams for UC Davis Health, where she also supports executive communications. As a journalist, she has reported on culture, gender, technology, and history for publications like The New York Times, Vanity Fair, Vogue, TIME, and more. She has managed large, international teams as an editor in digital media, where she directed editorial strategy for features and lifestyle desks. Her strategic vision has taken her to Silicon Valley, where she has consulted on content strategy for startups like Strive, Huckleberry, and Preferred Return. In 2017, Stephanie founded Soulbelly, a storytelling project with a mission to preserve family and community history. In her spare time, Stephanie is working on a novel and a handful of short story ideas (#amwriting). She loves to explore with her son, read, dance, relax, and watch horror movies.
