About Stephanie Byars

Accounting Professional | CPA (California Licensed) I specialize in finance and operations for creatives, entertainment organizations, startups, and industry leaders. With a strong background in personnel and systems, I bring expertise in equitable organizational design, compensation, tax strategy, compliance, and HR. Beyond accounting, I co-founded a sustainable shoe manufacturing company that proved a business model free from worker and environmental exploitation. I’ve also served as a guest lecturer and frequent panelist on business ethics and the environmental impact of industry. I advocate for climate justice, human rights, fair wages for artists, equitable workplaces, defunding fossil fuels, and a free Palestine. Outside of work, I enjoy graphic design, film composing, hiking, and history.
