About Stephanie Dolgoff

I am in no way being humble, but would rather let my demonstrated successes speak to my value and skillset than to declare them myself. According to what people continually give me lots of money to do, and for and what my colleagues and readers are grateful to me for, I am extraordinarily adept at connecting with women about what's important to them, mostly through creating content but also through speaking. I've written and edited for dozens of major consumer publications, and am currently the executive editor of Prevention, which covers health, nutrition, fitness and lifestyle. My book, My Formerly Hot Life (2010) was a national bestseller, and I have worked with highly successful authors to help them structure their books and book proposals over the years. I am a generalist, but after heading up health and nutrition at SELF magazine, I have stuck with women's physical and emotional health, because it changes along with me and the people I love. While I came up in print media, and still edit a monthly magazine on actual paper, I have learned to draw readers to the brands I've worked for (Good Housekeeping and now Prevention) on digital as well. Navigating the changing landscape of media has been a wild ride for us all, and I am thrilled to be able to produce excellent stories and packages for multiple platforms.
