To know me is to love me (unless you don’t, and that’s ok, too!) I am passionate, play a fair challenge function and am proud to place values and ethics in the top spot in my daily grind for positive outcomes. I’m an artist. This means I’m creative and push my teams to think of creative ways to address issues and problems. I have fun. I’m funny and love to laugh and I really enjoy making others laugh. I care. I care for people, culture, the environment, women’s rights, diversity of thought, race, gender to name a few. I’m probably not the smartest person in the room and I’m totally ok with that. I surround myself with people who are smarter than me which means I’m always on a learning journey and truly appreciate the strengths in others. I have an unconventional career path that has brought me to where I am and the older I get, the prouder I am of that. I have had extensive experience in Stakeholder Engagement and social programme design, development, implementation and management. I am a proven manager with a strong commitment to providing an excellent service to stakeholders and Canadians. My People Management / management of high performing teams (up to 30 staff) is a core strength. Strong listening and negotiation skills have been key for achieving results and being a leader in social programmes.
