In August 2022, at 48 years old, my world collapsed as I reached rock bottom. overcome by hopeless depression that I had kept hidden by everyone, the traumas of narcissistic abuse, and the realization that I had no idea who I really was. I went from holding a gun to my head to realizing that no one knew how hopeless I felt other than my husband. Feeling more alone than I'd ever felt in the face of the reality that he didn't have the compassion that I needed to get FREE from depression, I cried out to God. I BEGGED GOD TO TAKE MY LIFE IN EXCHANGE FOR JESUS AND PEACE, AND NOW I ONLY LIVE FOR HIM. I WRITE, I SPEAK BOLDLY, I PRAY.Before that. As a dedicated Air Force Officer Spouse for 21 1/2 years, I have so much compassion to share what it takes to thrive rather than just survive when times are tough. Resiliency isn't just a coined military phrase, it's also about knowing that it's not about shouldering the burden yourself. As a member of the leadership team, I affected management of human resources, made marketing decisions focused on growth, and made sure that daily operations aligned with overall strategic goals and company culture. As an entrepreneur with SummitAMP, LLC, I have offered web design, hosting, and website management at reasonable prices to a small number of clients.
