I am a high energy and passionate leader that has managed Asset Protection business related risk for Southeast and Mid-Atlantic markets which included up to 110 stores with DSW and 70 stores under three business units with Saks Fifth Avenue, Saks Fifth Avenue Outlets and Lord & Taylor stores. Oversaw AP Operations in each store. Developed, promoted and performance managed a multitude of direct reports which included District Managers, Senior Managers, and multiple single unit managers and over 80 Asset Protection Investigators. Provided training and development of APM's and Investigators throughout regions. Results driven with significant annual shrink reductions in my stores with DSW and Saks Fifth Avenue. Held various positions and promoted over my tenure such as Store APM of increasing sales volume and staff; Southeast Regional Director of SFA Outlet stores; Regional Director of Mid-Atlantic Full Line and Outlet stores. Conducted and managed the physical inventory process as APM and responsible for overall inventory results in my stores as Director of Asset Protection. Developed shortage reduction strategies ensuring the successful execution of action plans in each location. Conducted follow up store audit visits to ensure standards were in place and strategies were on target. Successfully reduced store and region shortage results 16 years in a row. Played a vital role in policy development and establishing best practices for the company. Oversaw internal audit process, ensuring each store meet company standards on a monthly basis. Worked with Senior Corporate Leadership and RD/GM/VP of Stores to improve operating profit through shortage reduction. Opened new stores yearly & played a leadership role in closing under performing units. Involved in multi state ORC groups with strong business contacts and relationships in LE. Proficient in XBR Exception Reporting, developing internal cases through prosecution. Council member of GRA and member of GRAORCA.
