About Stephanie Hampton

Ms Hampton is a persistent individual, bringing exceptional communication and problem solving skills to any organization. Ms Hampton is focused on working with non-profit and corporate companies for the last 16 years. When not at work she enjoys volunteering in the community and spends countless hours every year working on children’s programs and projects for the homeless. I started working in early education in 1995. I started in preschool classrooms then worked for Phoenix Elementary School for a few years as a volunteer teachers assistant in all grades and subjects, Talent Middle School teaching a one hour health education class once a week, Phoenix High School as a teacher’s assistant in health education, and in 2008 taught in the Jackson County Juvenile Detention Center teaching youth the following subjects: conflict management, situational response, and speaking-listening-communication skills. I have extensive training in handling child abuse obtained while working for a Children's Advocacy Center preparing young kids for court and a certification in Medication and Conflict Management from Southern Oregon University. I also continue to work as a Sunday school teacher with ages new born through preschool. I have a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Southern Oregon University and lead teaching certification from Portland Community College. I am working on a Masters of Education in Administration at Concordia University and plan to enter into a doctorate program focusing on early education soon after. Starting Fall of 2016 I will be the Director at Primrose School of Hillsboro, an early education facility in Hillsboro Oregon. My goal as an educator is to inspire, to create a curiosity that drives a passion for learning.
