My passion is utilizing innovation and building solutions that provide individuals, and populuations, with the services and information needed to drive improved and more equitable healthcare outcomes, ultimately fostering healthier communities. Throughout my career, I have successfully guided numerous organizations toward delivering higher-quality care while laying the foundation for scalable growth. I am able to navigate complex healthcare landscapes and regulatory requirements leading to compliant programs that also move the needle and stay innovative. I have led diverse teams composed of both licensed and non-licensed professionals, establishing a robust model for quality assurance and improvement that places a strong emphasis on clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. My leadership approach revolves around coaching, dedicated to nurturing employees to unlock their full potential. During my tenure at Ro, I've had the privilege of contributing to the development of scalable quality and safety structures, leveraging data and technology to drive innovation in outcomes measurement and enhance patient engagement, critical components of a population health strategy. At Oscar Health, I played a pivotal role in achieving and sustaining NCQA health plan accreditation for more than 10 health plans, actively facilitating up to 15 NCQA accreditations annually. Additionally, ensuring compliance with state and federal specific quality requirements and improvement projects. At Planned Parenthood, I spearheaded the creation of an enterprise risk management system, seamlessly aligning compliance, quality, and risk management to successfully attain federation accreditation. This groundwork has continually paved the way for ongoing quality enhancements within the organization. I am especially passionate about patient experience and its impact on cost and outcomes. I believe our healthcare system is failing too many people at too high of price and innovative solutions need to be implemented to create change. When I'm not immersed in the world of public health, you can often find me engrossed in speculative fiction, planning my next adventure, or chasing after a spirited toddler and baby.
