I am a dual-registered midwife and nurse and a clinical academic, known for leading work to improve prehospital maternity and newborn care across the urgent and emergency care system. My focus is on translating evidence into safer, more equitable pathways at the ambulance–maternity interface—particularly for women and babies who access during pregnancy and the postnatal period. I bring specialist urgent and emergency care knowledge spanning clinical practice, governance, workforce development and service redesign.
