I am diligent, detial-oriented, self-directed and ambitious; all qualities that will help me excel as an OT practitioner. My passion is to help others become independent in all aspects of life by integrating evidence, clinical experience and individual preference into care. Residency: I completed a 16-week long student-led project focusing on mindfulness for compassion fatigue and burnout among therapists and caregivers. Employment: Occupational Therapist - Baio Enterprises Inc. June 2019-October 2019. Occupational Therapist - St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. October 2019-Present. Occupational Therapist- ReThrive Wellness. May 2022-Present. Accomplishments: Outstanding Student Liaison - Student Health and Outreach for Wellness 2017 Program Fee Award - Northern Arizona University 2017 and 2018 Phi Kappa Phi Member Pi Theta Epsilon Member - 2017 to 2019 Graduate Student Government Award - 2017, 2018 and 2019 CHHS Student Travel Academic Excellence 2019 I served as an OT health professional student volunteer and OT Liaison for the Student Health and Outreach for Wellness Clinic in Downtown Phoenix providing free healthcare to the homeless population as part of an interprofessional team. I have a published Critically Appraised Paper (CAP) through the American Occupational Therapy Association regarding compensatory cognitive training for individuals with serious mental illness. I completed two poster presentations at the 2019 AOTA Annual Conference. My interests include neurorehabilitation, mindfulness and acute care. I am passionate about the care the homeless population receives.
