About Stephanie King
I graduated from Oregon State University, with a Professional Science Masters of Fish and Wildlife Administration with a focus on sustainable aquaculture. My capstone project focused on the development of a novel aeroponics system to grow the seaweed Pacific Dulce (Palmaria mollis). Currently I work at Great Falls Aquaculture in Turner’ Falls, MA, as their Water Quality Lead Technician. I am committed to the future of the aquaculture industry by maintaining an interest in education and outreach about the field. I received my BA from Eckerd College (St. Petersburg, FL) in 2015 with a major in environmental studies and dual minors in biology and coastal management. After graduation I spent several years working as an environmental educator and on an oyster farm.
