About Stephanie Knox

A organized, creative, passionate leader with over 27 years of experience working in the Credit Union industry. I am passionate about the education of our staff and ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to serve our members. I was nominated by my manager and completed the three levels of South Carolina Federals Highly Potential Employee Program (2016, 2017, 2018.) As a training process specialist, I develop, schedule, and conduct training to support projects and the direction of the credit union. I collaborate with management, peers, technical staff, business processes, and trainers on operational initiatives. Partnered with other training specialist in the online and classroom training programs which resulted in the 2016 CUNA ELLy eLearning Award, and the 2016 CUNA ELLy Training Professional of the Year Award for the Learning Center. I am passionate about the education of the employees of South Carolina Federal Credit Union, which has been voted seven times as one of the ‘Best Places to Work in SC’ (currently ranked #3) and which is currently ranked #11 on the Glassdoor’s 2019 Best Places to Work list (small/medium company category) and #1 on the national ‘Best Credit Unions to Work For’ list (assets >$1B). I like to spend time volunteering within the community and am especially passionate about helping kids in the foster care system. I spent three years as the South Carolina Federal Credit Union Liason for Lowcountry Orphan Relief. Being able to spend time with these children and collecting and providing clothing, books, school supplies, and toiletries for these kids in a time of uncertainty and confusion, brings joy to my life.
