About Stephanie Lessa

There is power and hope when we share our stories, feeling and experiences. I feel humbled and honoured I can share mine as well as my mental health journey with others. It is beautiful to connect with someone and learn about them, what they believe, what they need, their goals and dreams. As a Peer Support Worker, this has been my passion. It empowers me when I can support someone in a compassionate, peer-focused way and, together, we work at making their lives better. They are not alone, they have choices and can turn their life around while turning their hardships into a powerful catalyst for positive change. I learn every day from the Peers I connect with whether in person, online, over the phone. It truly is an amazing experience being a positive influence in someone's life. I believe in the power and beauty of Peer Support.
