About Stephanie Prosen

I have over 20 years of policy, corporate, and project management experience with the Ontario Public Service. Through positions in Cabinet Office, strategic policy development, and executive supports to the Deputy Minister and Chief Administrative Officer, I have extensive experience in policy development, issues management, and supporting government decision making. Areas of policy expertise include social services, energy/renewable energy, and Indigenous policy. I have had the privilege of dialogue with First Nations on matters relating to self-determination, and with First Nation, Métis, Inuit and urban Indigenous communities and organizations on improving social services and socio-economic outcomes for Indigenous Peoples. I have led high-preforming teams in developing complex policy initiatives and in providing strategic advice to advance responsive and inclusive government policy, programs and legislation. I am committed to creating diverse teams where staff are motivated to bring forward their best, encouraged to think creatively, and are supported by dynamic and collaborative environments. Through my interdisciplinary training at the Masters level, I believe in collaboration through diverse and multidisciplinary teams to find effective solutions to complex challenges.
