Hi, if you have found my page you already know my name is Stephanie. My current work is in arts and culture on the research side. Coming from the social sciences there are surprising similarities. In my Masters and undergrad I learnt about the lasting effects of colonial policy and social control and I see it in the distribution of funds and access to resources with the artists and organizations we fund. At Calgary Arts Development I have learnt practical ways of addressing these historic inequities. I am also more broadly interested in how communities develop, how they are sustained and how they could be improved.
