About Stephanie Sole

I’m an analyst at The Treasury, who is passionate about the power of economic analysis and data. I have special interests in female and youth employment and contributions in New Zealand, with an intersectional lens to my work. As a graduate of Victoria University of Wellington in both Arts and Commerce, I enjoy looking at the world through multiple perspectives, whether it be through an economic, social or political lens. I majored in Economics and International Relations, with minors in Commercial Law, Politics, and Development Studies to further explore different ways of looking at the same issues.I am an avid traveller and my time in Europe, Asia, and North America over the past few years, and an exchange at the Univeristy of Leeds in 2017, has allowed me to experience and value a diverse range of cultures and peoples. These incredible opportunities have fuelled my other passions – to make a difference to the world around me, to encourage sustainable and equitable choices, to allow and ensure that all others can reap the benefits I have.
