About Stephanie Swift

I am the Research Operations Manager for Hyfe ai, a cough monitoring software that continually monitors chronic coughs in patients. Hyfe is used in clinical trials for a variety of specialities, including lung cancer, TB, COVID-19 and COPD. I worked as a Commercial Business Development Manager for NIHR CRN East Midlands, where I facilitated connections and collaborations between the NHS and commercial enterprises. Previously, I held a dual role as the Regional Research Operational Delivery Manager for the infant HARMONIE RSV Study and as the Clinical Research Manager at Cripps Health Centre. My expertise spans primary care, oncology, and audiology. I have contributed to both COVID-19 trials (including AstraZeneca and ComCOVs) and non-COVID-19 studies in areas such as mental health, sexual health, and infectious diseases. I hold a PhD from the University of Nottingham, where my research focused on the effects of ototoxicity—specifically hearing loss and tinnitus—induced by chemotherapy and its impact on patients' quality of life.
