About Stephanie Talbot

Working as Staff Development Coordinator at Rocky Mount Rehabilitation Center has not only rekindled my love for long term care, but has helped me to grow as a transformational leader. Having earned my CPR Instructor credentials as well as IPCO certification from the CDC, my next objective will be to sit for ANCC’s Nurse Executive Board Certification (NE-BC) as well as Nursing Professional Development (NPD-BC). My primary role is SDC, while working behind the scenes as ADON. My tenure at NASH UNC Health Care sharpened my competencies in progressive care nursing, which I integrate into my daily responsibilities. The trust and cooperation of my colleagues are testament to our shared success in delivering patient-centered healthcare. Together, we strive to achieve the highest standards of nursing excellence. Thanks to my staff position in 2020 and my 2024 contract at ECU Health, my commitment to compassionate patient care and progressive nursing practices is unwavering. Having refined my skills in critical stepdown units, I now leverage my ANCC certifications and MSNCB’s CMSRN board certification to provide exceptional direct patient care and to foster an inclusive environment. This is in addition to my primary specialty, behavioral health, which I’ve worked as staff and agency nurse across North Carolina, ultimately earning ANCC’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing.
