As a recovery & delivery expert, I love to dig into failing deliveries & solve them with modern approaches. Using a helicopter view, I review the entire scope and requirements, using factual analysis & critical path management to ensure completion. I focus on key outcomes & transparent methodology, build amazing, engaged, & diverse teams, & quickly adopt new learnings. I have enjoyed many roles over the last 15 years, as a consultant Program Portfolio Director, within the Financial Sector, BSkyB, & the NHS, delivering portfolios from £50m+ p/a, including the successful recovery of large enterprise-wide programs with a total spend of over £1bn. My experience has taught me the following things about myself: My expertise is scalable from programs of £5m up to £1bn+- I always put customers first - I use a factual approach, combined with experience to make decisions - My gut instinct is good, but I also listen to others' opinions I can align, lead & build highly effective, diverse, motivated, engaged & driven teams - I break down silos, create transparency, & build trust - Diversity is key & I take pride in being a diverse leader - My skills in people management scalable from teams of 10 to hundreds - I speak tech & business & can readily translate - The buck always stops with me, however success is as a team I love to learn, & drive myself to be a better person - I relish challenge & thrive in complex environments, the harder the better - Calmness under pressure, & a keen ear are key to my success In addition to my successful career garnered over many years, I am a published author, played top-level women's football & professional pool too. I now live on the coast with my wife, & our two very boisterous cats, & | approach life with a humorous tint. Recovery & Delivery Example £1bn+ Regulatory delivery had been running for over 6 years, 2 years red when I was drafted in to recover. After 2-weeks' analysis, I restructured the Release Trains, & reprioritised the activity of the entire program, which consisted of over 500 programs, delivered by over 4,500 workers. My actions turned the program to amber within 6 weeks, and to green within 12 weeks.
