With nearly 12 years of experience in the NHS, I have progressed from an Audio Typist to a Medical Secretary supporting GG & C Ophthalmology Team in the Southside. I work closely alongside 4 doctors & their team of skilled practitioners which include Nurses, Optometrists & Orthoptists. My role involves typing comprehensive medical letters, managing waiting lists, coordinating surgery dates, out patient clinic appointments as well as organising pre-op and post-op care. I have a caring personality, strong organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of my work. Outwith my NHS role, I also work independently as a secretary for a Consultant Ophthalmologist within the Private Sector using my expertise to manage medical correspondence such as reports & clinic letters, invoices, and patient queries. I am a dedicated professional who thrives on learning and supporting others.
