About Stephen Barone

I'm a Senior Manager in the Learning & Development group of PwC, supporting all lines of service and staff levels - including partners. In my current role as a Designer on the Applied Innovation team, I embrace Design Thinking principles to help internal stakeholders, SMSs, and L&D colleagues think through things like the problems to be solved, identification of skill/knowledge gaps, and development of L&D concepts, blueprints and personas to ensure learner-centric solutions. Together we match the right design treatments, methods, and learning technologies - with the right people - at the right time. Overall, I have 20+ years experience in the learning and education field, including three years as an onboarding trainer. Over the years, I've successfully led teams of people, and managed multiple firm-wide programs, curricula, and projects. I've chaired steering committees and advisory boards at PwC and MetLife. I'm a member of the Association for Talent Development (ATD), other local industry/national organizations, and a DDI Certified Facilitator.
