I have over 19 years of employee benefit plan experience, including auditing qualified retirement plans, annual recordkeeping for defined contribution plans, and technical consulting related to defined contribution plans. My experience includes the following- Managing and reviewing audits of qualified retirement plans including 403(b) plans, defined benefit plans, 401(k) profit sharing plans, employee stock ownership plans, health and welfare plans, and qualified plans required to file with the SEC- Preparation and reviewing of Form 5500 for retirement and welfare benefit plans - Managing the evaluation process of SSAE 16 reports used for audits of qualified retirement plans - Performing internal control SSAE 16 audits- Performed investigative agreed upon procedures used for Client’s external legal counsel's file evidence- Helping clients respond to Department of Labor and Internal Revenue Service benefit plan notices. Including, helping bring plans into compliance and helping clients to work with the agencies to reduce any potential penalties- Mentoring and developing staff, senior staff and managers for their career development and progression.
