About Stephen Blackmon

Stephen Blackmon is the CEO of Consuming Fire Incorporated (CFI), a full service content production, marketing, and publishing company based in Atlanta, Georgia. He is the executive producer of Platinum Models Atlanta (available on XUMO, TUBI and other streaming services), the writer, director & producer of the feature film High Stakes Game (HSG), and executive producer of the upcoming HSG series and other projects. Founded in 2005, Consuming Fire's marketing division handles everything from branding and print advertising to radio and television commercials. CFI has published over 35 books and offer numerous services for self-publishing authors to improve the quality, presentation and marketability of their work. Stephen released his own first novel, The Price of Paradise, in 2009, and has a longstanding history in writing, magazines and ghostwriting. He has been editing video consistently since 2003. He began shooting and directing short films and promotional videos in 2011. In December of 2015 he took over leadership of the Atlanta Independent Filmmakers Meetup, and developed it into the ForkShop (Filmmaker’s Workshop), a practicing community of independent writers, directors, producers, actors and crew. This filmmaker collective has since grown its membership from 345 to over 3200. Stephen's consistent goal has been to help people start living their dreams, and to produce extraordinary media that ignites the imagination and inspires true creativity & personal development. Stephen holds an MBA in Media Management and has nearly completed his MFA in script and screenwriting. He lives in Greater Atlanta with his wife Iko, and two daughters.
