I am the CEO & Co-Founder at Crimson Medical Solutions where we are helping nurses with safe IV line management. Anyone with a nurse in their life realizes how burnt out and busy they are. In critical care, patients can have up to 15 IV lines, making IV medication administration complex and risky, leading to patient harm events. The INS and other national patient safety organizations have outlined standards to keep patients safe, yet the current practice in most units is just handwritten tape and sticker. We founded Crimson Medical Solutions to make it easier and safer for nurses to administer high risk medications. Our IV Manager makes it easy for nurses to follow IV line management standards, making their job easier and improving patient safety. It's a multi-purpose IV line label, organizer, and identifier that replaces the current practice of tape and labels.
