About Stephen Boyd

I bring over 25 years of executive leadership experience across life sciences, technology innovation, and public-private partnerships. My track record includes driving company-wide operational excellence that successfully launches businesses and delivers accelerated revenue growth and expanded market share. I currently serve as the CEO of Boyd Biomedical, a growth partner for life science companies that helps clients design, build, and launch biomedical devices and liquid media solutions. I report to the Board of Directors and lead the company's strategic planning, cross-functional teams, negotiations, and international business development across all divisions of the business. In this role I've leveraged my experience to drive the evolution of our service offerings and industry expertise, delivering significant year-over-year growth in revenue and customer base. Under my leadership, I transformed the company from a legacy family-run contract manufacturer into a biomedical growth services business. I'm passionate about civic engagement and mentoring emerging technology leaders and founded the Berkshire Innovation Center in 2014 as a regional technology hub dedicated to fostering collaboration and driving economic development. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Middlebury College, and received an Honorary Doctorate of Science from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in 2021.
