20 years of experience in Information Technology & Cyber Operations in the United States Air Force, and is a proven leader and manager of large, motivated teams. Currently an Active Duty Senior Master Sergeant (E-8) on terminal leave and retiring in 2025. Maintains an active TS clearance and CI polygraph. CAREER EXPERIENCE: Led large teams of intelligence analysts and cyber professionals to oversee a variety of networks and programs including: the US Air Force Global Network Enterprise; 124 communication sites across the European theater & Middle East; 13 Cyber Mission Defense Teams safeguarding a variety of Space assets (satellite, launch & ground system platforms); critical intelligence systems & cloud network infrastructure on the Commercial Cloud Services network via the Amazon Web Services platform; F-22 & remotely piloted aircraft network systems and associated cryptological tech; integrated imagery & intelligence systems; lead systems administrator for 3 global command and control system platforms. Security+ certified since 2008 with a variety of experience leading large & small specialized teams dedicated to VMware, Amazon Web Services, Python, Agile, SQL, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/LLMs, Cyber Threat Hunting, Incident Response, Linux, EMC, Dell, Cisco, Network Security, Change Management, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Server, Problem Management, Data Center Management, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and a variety of military special systems including but not limited to JWICS, GCCS, JOPES, DCAPES, COP-I3, GALE, TAW, and TBMCS. Steve worked at the National Reconnaissance Office for 5 years, in the Corporate Entertainment industry at Cinemark for over 5 years, and just recently departed his 20-year Information Technology career in the United States Air Force in 2025. He earned a Bachelor's in History with Honors and an Associate's in Information Systems Technology, and holds several Amazon, Windows, and Cisco networking certifications. His work philosophy is centered on People, Processes, and Positive Attitude. He is also an asset on the grill at any barbecue, believing that good food, family, and fellowship bring teams together.
