About Stephen Carnathan

I'm a Project Manager with a background in creative production, narrative development, and cross-functional team leadership. Before I ever used those titles, I was a creative lead and story-first producer working in the fast, unpredictable world of television. I didn’t come up through a formal PM track. There was no roadmap, just a messy system, and a growing list of problems no one else was solving. So I stepped in. I rebuilt workflows. Bridged teams. Reimagined how creative and logistics could actually function together. Over time, that instinct to bring structure to creative pressure turned into something bigger — a portfolio-level view of leadership and delivery. Over more than a decade in the industry, I learned to manage moving targets, shifting priorities, and a whole lot of personalities. I directed talent like Aerosmith and Jack White, guided story in real time, and led teams across editorial, logistics, legal, and post. I also spearheaded brand integrations and product placement campaigns; merging creative with commercial strategy to support sponsors like Ford and Marathon without sacrificing tone or audience engagement. Now I’m pivoting into full-fledged project, program, and portfolio management — where I can plant roots, drive impact, and help grow a company or initiative from the inside out. I'm looking for opportunities where I can blend strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, and contribute to systems that scale over time while staying aligned with creative vision and organizational goals. I'm excited to bring that same creative-meets-operational drive to a team building for the long haul.
