I am an attorney who has been with the United States Department of Justice for 25 years - ever since being hired as part of the Attorney General's Honors Program straight out of law school. In my time with the Department, I have worn many hats, and that diversity of experience has allowed me to gain exposure to a wide and varied assortment of practice areas in civil, criminal, and administrative law, as well as take on an array of leadership roles. I have often been praised for my writing, oral advocacy, good humor, and the ease with which I work - either on my own, or as part of a team. That being said, I am a firm believer that there are always things I can improve and lessons I can learn from others, no matter who they might be. Outside of the workplace, I am a proud dad, history geek, tabletop gamer, and traveler who is always looking to learn something new because, in my opinion, that is what life is all about.
