Note: With a project team, I have the base code and experience to fast track programming projects for S88 batch unit machines when time to production is an issue. I am interested in producing well defined, testable automation software, with correspondence of code to functional specification, including PLC ladder logic software implementation of UML state machines; use of PLC code to implement dynamic models of physical plants, including fault conditions, for Hardware-in-the-Loop testing of control systems; understanding and improving dynamic response; and S88 batch techniques to facilitate integration of process cell level control with site information. The objective of each of these techniques is to produce control systems with reduced uncertainty and increased capability early in the life cycle, particularly in the time period in which a physical plant is not yet available. I have completed control projects in Canada, Puerto Rico, and throughout the U.S. for production of numerous products by major pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturers.
