Over 20 years' experience managing teams across a wide range on industry's including Medical, Pharmaceutical, Beverage and Food • Effective cross-functional collaboration with internal & external partners including Global Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Technical Operations, Supply Chain, PMO, Procurement, Regulatory, Quality & external contractors • Close collaboration with our Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMO)/ Third Party Manufacturing Sites (TPM’s) across all levels of the organisation. • Ownership & tracking of operations & engineering key performance indicators (KPI’s) for all associated areas. • Manage all operations & engineering activities to meet & optimize manufacturing schedules while maintaining a high level of GMP compliance & cost efficiency. • Engage & agree all planned & unplanned works on equipment with the CMO/TPM sites on the management of the maintenance programs • Management & coordination with the PMO team for CAPEX & OPEX budgets across the site(s) • Provide Engineering expertise in trouble shooting activities to support manufacturing during NPI activities or deviation •. Use of lean six 6 sigma tools • Lead & support system improvements, development of specifications, engineering documents & SOP’s. • Identify & support process optimization initiatives & address opportunities for efficiency & capacity improvements in all areas of manufacturing support equipment • Acts as an advocate for engineering & automation continuous improvement activities •. Ownership of equipment/systems in a GMP regulated manufacturing setting. • Ownership & tracking of engineering key performance indicators (KPI’s) for the CMO/TPM sites • Take the lead in troubleshooting & problem solving on process equipment while providing coaching & mentoring to other engineering & operations staff • Lead technical root cause analysis, incident investigations & troubleshooting issues related to equipment/systems. • Promote regulatory compliance & alignment of the site(s) with the Business Unit Managers & Engineering Managers strategies & objectives • Ensure a commitment to safety, quality & operational excellence at a competitive cost. •. Understand system reliability & availability and manage any scheduled or unscheduled down-time & the associated risk • Improving the engineering programs compliance, performance & reliability through technical knowledge and people leadership • Improving the validated equipment systems compliance, performance & reliability through technical knowledge and people leadership.
