About Stephen Cortman

My love for the creative industry started at a very young age. I’ve always had a camera in my hand and an instrument in the other. In middle school I discovered YouTube and I’ve been hooked on creating ever since. I dreamed of attending Full Sail University in Orlando, FL. I got the chance to go soon after high school and receive a Bachelor of Science in Film and Cinematography. I am also certified in video production, with Sarasota County Technical Institute. After college, I worked in Sarasota, FL in different Creative Producing and Art Director roles. I knew that if I wanted to move up and work on better projects I would need to move to a bigger city. I moved to Charlotte, NC, and started my role with Loss Prevention Media Group. In my current role, I am fortunate to work with an incredible team. We work with the world's biggest retailers and produce excellent work with them and for them. I get to focus on many different forms of content. From animation to video editing, photo manipulation, article and digital design, audio and podcasts, and motion graphics. I love how every day looks different. I love finding new solutions to different creative challenges and doing it with our team.
