About Stephen Davis

Stephen Davis is a seasoned government affairs and external relations professional with nearly two decades of experience. He leverages his expertise in advocacy, policy, and legislation to advance the interests of the housing industry.As the Senior Director of Government Affairs at the Atlanta Apartment Association and the Georgia Apartment Association, Stephen plays a crucial role as a liaison between the industry and government officials at all levels. His advocacy for industry-impacting policies, management of the Georgia Better Government Fund, and coordination of state government affairs activities all aim to advance the interests of the housing industry.Stephen is passionate and dedicated to public and community service. He serves as a Commissioner on the Housing Authority of Fulton County, a member of the Star-C Board of Directors, and is a 2024 graduate of Leadership North Fulton. Before his current role, Stephen worked in the homebuilding, energy efficiency, and U.S. government sectors. He holds a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from The University of Alabama.
