Having spent time working in New York, London, Hong Kong and most recently New Zealand, Stephen has a deep appreciation of the importance of building world-class, internationally diverse teams.I bring experience in strategic planning, executive engagement and product ownership and with an ability to drive deep technical discussions with practitioners. I have spent most of my time working in the financial services sector, designing scalable, adaptive and resilient software architectures. This includes high performing solutions for developed economies right through to adaptive solutions for emerging markets with regulatory nuances. I can assemble strong teams of full-stack developers using lean practices. Such successes have led to me managing global teams of over 100 people spanning multiple continents with budgets in excess of $15M USD. I have a keen interest in scalable, event oriented software architectures that succeed during fast paced environments. However my focus on robust sustainable solutions remains widely transferrable. I live in Auckland, New Zealand with my wife and 3 children.
