About Stephen Dyke

Steve Dyke has twenty-three years of private equity and mergers and acquisitions experience. He is a Managing Partner and Founder of Align Capital Partners (“ACP”). Align Capital Partners is a growth-oriented private equity firm that partners with business owners and management teams to create shared success. ACP manages $1.5 billion in committed capital with investment teams in Cleveland and Dallas. ACP brings experience and resources to help lower-middle market companies accelerate their growth, to the benefit of management, employees and the firm’s investors. ACP makes control investments in differentiated companies within the business services, technology, specialty manufacturing and distribution sectors. Prior to founding ACP, Steve spent 16 years at The Riverside Company, the last ten years as an Investment Partner responsible for investment selection, due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiation of private equity investments in the Riverside Capital Appreciation Fund (RCAF). While at Riverside, Steve completed 32 acquisitions and sale transactions totaling $2.9 billion of value for RCAF. In addition, Steve helped launch the firm’s Specialty Manufacturing and Distribution (SMD) investment effort and served as the SMD industry sector head for the firm globally in 2014-2015. Currently, Steve is a board member at SWA Elevators and VetEvolve. He has significant portfolio management experience, including board member roles at Arrowhead Electrical Products, Fisher Unitech, and Sunless, ACT Laboratories, Aerco International, Commonwealth Laminating and Coating, Ceour, Delta Petroleum, Experient, G&H Orthodontics, Hardware Resources, Nordco, Porcelain Products Group, Precision Wire Components, Production Control Services, and Protegis, Inc. Steve holds a BS in Accounting from Colorado State University and an MBA from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management. Steve is an avid cyclist and he and his wife reside in Cleveland Heights, OH.
