Born and raised in North Texas. Love it here, though I wish it had more mountains. 1st goal in life: Tell people that Jesus of the Bible has changed my life and is worth following with everything you have. 2nd goal in life: Have a blast building things with other like-minded individuals. Passionate about church work, campus ministry, and discipleship. I’m a huge people person. I am also a worship leader and have 15+ experience playing guitar and piano and singing in worship settings. Most recently, I've been building a give-back candle company (Calyan Wax Co.) with my friend, Jacob, and our hard-working team. I kind of fell into this opportunity and have been very grateful for our success. Within 6 years, we have grown to be a nationally recognized brand. Our candles can be found in Whole Foods Markets and Sprouts across the USA. You can also find our candles in grocery chains like Fresh Thyme and Central Market. Honestly, Jacob deserves all the credit for the growth of Calyan Wax Co. I helped, but he is the one who pushed for growth and called the team higher. Having a front row seat to a growing small business has been a fun and wild ride. I currently work as the Marketing Director for Calyan. I help plan and implement marketing initiatives that tell new and existing customers why our products are so great and why they should choose them. I would love to connect with other marketing professionals in the natural grocer space. Would also love to connect with ministry-minded folks who have a passion for discipleship.
