About Stephen Evans

Head of Test with over a decade of experience designing and embedding quality practices across complex, regulated software platforms. I specialise in test strategy, automation architecture, and performance and non-functional testing, with a strong focus on enabling teams to deliver reliably at scale.I work closely with engineering, product, and delivery teams to shift quality left, surface risk early, and enable predictable delivery at pace. My experience spans automation framework design, CI/CD integration, performance and resilience testing, and mentoring engineers and testers across distributed teams.Having worked extensively with international stakeholders and customers, I’m comfortable operating in high-stakes environments where reliability, compliance, and customer trust are critical. I’m particularly interested in pragmatic quality engineering approaches that balance speed, risk, and long-term maintainability.I value clear communication, calm problem-solving, and collaborative leadership, and I’m motivated by improving systems, processes, and teams in ways that deliver measurable business outcomes.
