About Stephen Exel

As someone who has always been motivated by exploring new places and collaborating with a variety of new people, I constantly seek roles and opportunities that will give me the ability to immerse myself in these interests. I spent the better part of the past decade living and working in cities all around the world; I took this opportunity to give myself a taste of work in a variety of fields such as ESL teaching, fundraising, and the film industry. After having returned to Vancouver I brought these experiences with me and was thrilled to have the opportunity to use them in my new role in the Donor Services department at the BC Children's Hospital Foundation. I am excited to be drawing upon my skills in leadership, relationship building, and training to contribute to an environment that prioritizes the donor journey and lets me give back to the community I grew up in.
