Updated : From 2019 to present I have worked for Purolator Inc. at the Customer Service Centre in Dieppe, NB. I have progressively transitioned from Customer Service Agent to Tracing Helper to Tracing Specialist to now Divisional Lead - Trace : Western Division. I work with our office and with Operations to improve processes and productivity to minimize trace resolution times for all of Canada. Acting as liason with our Operations and Loss Prevention teams, assisting and managing escalated situations and more.(My area covers from Saskatchewan to British Columbia and the Territories ) My past, Retail is my passion that happens to be my profession. Professionally, to understand my career you need to be able to see beyond the just titles. My 30years in the food retail business has been focused on "big picture"​ results. In all of my roles the focus I've had has been on Operations to not only achieve success for the locations I worked at but also for the entire company. Whether it is working with other department managers and Assistant Store Managers to improve their understanding of the retail business and operations or building confidence with employees to overcome the minimum wage stigma associated with our industry, my greatest accomplishment has been earning the respect of my colleagues, peers and superiors. I am a well-rounded retail operations expert with a record of success in merchandising, management,business results and employee development. My store roles have included that of Grocery Manager, working on special projects, being Acting Store Manager, acting Assistant Store Manager, Assistant Store Manage and more and having produced many contributions to the business beyond what my title/roles called for. From the office perspective, my focus on Operations related roles has helped bring improvements and changes to the companies I have been with. In an industry flooded with data and numbers you need to be able to interpret it all. They say that numbers speak for themselves but knowing how and why they came about and what they truly mean is most important and the roles I have had have allowed me to successfully make a difference for the companies I've served.
