About Stephen Fox

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), I provide respiratory care services to patients in various settings, including hospital, community, and educational environments. I am passionate about improving patient outcomes and enhancing the quality of care through evidence-based practices and continuous learning. Currently, I work as a registered respiratory therapist at WVU Reynolds Memorial Hospital full time, where I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver respiratory therapy interventions to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions. Additionally, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science and Technologies with a concentration in Respiratory Therapy from Thomas Edison State University, and I have obtained multiple certifications, such as PALS, ACLS, NRP, RRT, and RRT-NPS. I am skilled in pediatric, emergency, intensive, and neonatal care, as well as acute care and respiratory care management. Moreover, my military service as a PSYOP Specialist in the Army Reserves, with a deployment to Iraq in 2006, has enriched my professional journey, instilling a strong sense of discipline and strategic thinking. I aspire to advance my career as a respiratory therapist and contribute to the field of respiratory therapy through teaching, research, and innovation.
