About Stephen Gordon

Having worked in the chemical industry for 19 years as a Chemist, working in all areas including Analytical, Research, and Process Development. Latterly, this was as a Process Development Chemist within the toiletries industry for Gillette UK and Creative Outsourcing Solutions International (COSi) Ltd. Customer service trained, process troubleshooter and contract support. I retrained as a teacher in 2008 working in Secondary education Science/Chemistry in mainstream schools, PRU and Mental Health settings (Hospitals School) specializing in working with children struggling with mental health and ASD. Trained as a Person Centered Therapist (PCT)/ Counsellor in my spare time, volunteering at Cruse Wirral, Age UK, Marie Currie and Claire House Children's Hospice. After 12 years in education, I completed training (Level 7 Post Graduate Diploma) to become an Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) in Liverpool MHST. Interested in working with anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD and trauma.
