Over 20 years’ experience in Financial Services. • Senior management experience in risk and compliance. • Experienced SMF16 and SMF17. • Fully conversant in FCA applications and reporting via CONNECT and RegData systems • Subject Matter expert on a wide range of regulatory issues including Financial Crime, Data Protection (GDPR), TCF, T&C requirements, Complaints Handling etc. • Collate and analyse performance data for key performance metrics, identifying high-level trends, risks and issues and escalating any weaknesses and areas for improvement. Provide regular reports and updates on external and internal issues to the Board. • Undertake Due Diligence on all onboarded third parties. • Oversee investigations into data protection related incidents and complaints, conducting root cause analysis and liaising with the ICO, FCA, FOS, etc as required. • Proven record in dealing with conflicting demands, delivering within tight timescales and able to continually adapt to an ever-changing business environment. • Logical and analytical with an ability to approach complex problems and apply rational analysis to draw out appropriate insights. • Key in influencing the Board to initiate changes in risk behaviours. • Proven ability to form and retain excellent relationships with key stakeholders. • Experience of creating, designing and maintaining risk-based Management Information Reports. • Proven ability to prioritise, plan and manage own and project workloads, and work to strict deadlines.
