About Stephen H. Porter

In San Diego’s early days, my family’s construction and real estate ventures were built on honesty, integrity and fair dealing. I am proud to continue that family tradition today with my company, Coldwell Residential Brokerage. A third-generation San Diegan, I graduated from San Diego High School, and joined my father’s import-export business in 1973. I earned U.S. Customhouse Broker License #6556 in 1980, and during the next fifteen years, Porter International Incorporated maintained a leadership role in San Diego’s World Trade industry. In over thirty years in business, I’ve learned the importance of putting my clients first; while adhering to strict regulatory compliance requirements in delivering the highest possible level of customer service. As a steward of my ancestor’s contribution to our area, I’m a committed volunteer. My involvement with Rotary International, Otay Mesa Chamber of Commerce, San Diego Education Fund, and San Diego High School Academy of Finance has paid me back priceless dividends of experience in working with people.
