About Stephen Hill

When I was a child I use to build forts and club houses in the woods around the house. When I was able to work for my brother James he got me a job at Griggs Contracting where I was introduced to the ways of construction and fell in love. Just to see how much so few people could do in a day was astonishing to me and ever since that time I have had a passion for construction. After Griggs, I wanted to expand my knowledge in the residential setting and secured a job at Presidential Gutters. I learned a lot about roofs, fascia, soffit, and especially gutters during the few years I was privy to work with an absolutely professional small business of two. After 9-11, Presidential Gutters had a tough time and I was let go. Luckily, I had a friend working with Wright Development who was building an eight thousand square foot log cabin and was looking for some help. I got to see, hands on, the step by step process in which a hand stacked log cabin is erected and was one of the most fun things I have ever built. I got to learn a lot about insulated concrete forms (ICFs) and fusing different building materials into one project to get a custom one off product that sets you apart from the rest of the neighborhood. During my stint with Wright Development I decided to further my education in the industry. I studied at Gwinnett Technical College and attained an Associates Degree in Applied Science and a Carpentry Diploma. My certifications include: Construction Worker, Residential Carpenter, Construction Manager, Framer, and Finish Carpenter. I earned a 10 hour OSHA Card - OSHA # 001408191. I am now married to my loving wife Brandie Hill, and we have a bouncing baby boy by the name of Bryce Conner Hill. We bought our first home in Norcross, GA where we met and went to school together. I am Honest, Ethical, Dependable, & Respectful.
