I am a barrister specialising in litigation, in particular high value and complex costs claims. I also undertake work in the areas of personal injury, property (including residential and commercial property disputes), and I have a broad general civil litigation practice. The majority of my practice is costs hearings, trial advocacy, and interlocutory hearings in multi track cases. With extensive advocacy and litigation expertise, I have been involved in numerous high profile, high value and complex cases, such as Kilby v Gawith [2009] 1 WLR 853, Solomon v Cromwell Group Ltd [2012] 1 WLR 1048, Dockerill & Healey v Tullett [2012] 1 WLR 2092, Bamrah v 1) Gempride Ltd and 2) Lawlords of London Ltd [2018], Bush and Baseline Properties Ltd v King [2017], Jackson v Barfoot [2017], Hislop v Perde and Kaur v Ramgarhia Board Leicester [2018] EWCA Civ 1726. I am a former President of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers ('FOIL'), and advisor to the Association of British Insurers.
