About Stephen Hunt

Emergency communications is so much more than simply answering the phones and talking on a radio. I have been trained in the training of adults, crisis intervention, medical intervention, customer service, active listening and supervisory concepts. I have developed skills in relationship building, interdepartmental and interjurisdictional coordination, customer care, employee development, one on one training, and classroom instruction. I have experience in dealing with outside software and hardware vendors and beta testing new systems. I am also experienced in team building, promoting teamwork, and project management. Working for 911 is so much more than being a dispatcher. A dispatcher is a jack of all trades, outside of the box, problem solver that gets things done.
