About Stephen Ingham

I’m a hardworking and detail-oriented software developer with a strong interest in app development, specifically in web apps. At present, I’m undertaking a placement year in IT Services, University of York within the MyUoY App product team, helping develop out new app features in React Native to a user base of students according to the Scrum methodology. I have several years of experience producing designs for and developing apps using various front-end and back-end technologies within my own personal projects and for organisations such as York Community Consulting as a software developer, as well as student societies at the University as part of my time leading YorDevs (York Web and App Development Society). As a result, I have a great deal of experience working in an agile format, most often in a scrum team as well as a great aptitude in technologies ranging from React.js to Firebase. I’m looking for roles in which I can make use of my technical and creative knowledge to become an effective member of a software development team.
