I am currently working as a Watermaster Liaison at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, where I assist in regulating the surface water rights for the state of Texas. One of my major responsibilities as a liaison is to be the project manager for the TXWAS database. TXWAS is the accounting system for surface water right in the state of Texas. In a previous position at TCEQ I was responsible for the verification and transfer of water rights from one owner to another. This involved detail analysis of deeds, wills and other conveyance documents, as well as plotting metes and bounds in order to verify property ownership. With over 15 years of diverse work experience in pharmaceutical and biological manufacturing environments, I have worked in several progressively responsible positions, most recently as a Director of Lab Operations at Alpha Biosystems. As the Director of Lab Operations, I was responsible for the manufacturing, testing and quality assurance of a line of environmentally friendly, biological products. As a Nuclear Licensing Associate at GE Healthcare, I was successful at assuring federal and state regulatory compliance for both the company and its customers. At GE Healthcare/Amersham, I spent several years in a cGMP radio-pharmaceutial manufacturing environment. Throughout my tenure in manufacturing, I gained a wealth of knowledge in many areas including clean room production, FDA regulations, chemistry, health and safety, quality control and the operation of a multitude of lab equipment.
