About Stephen Landrum

After successfully practicing law for six years I decided I wanted a change. I was fortunate to be able to stop practicing law and began coaching basketball and teaching World History. My background as a general practice Attorney has been a great help in making the transition. Practicing law, as a sole practitioner, I was was able to hone my talents dealing with people from all types of backgrounds and understanding that to be successful you must understand where a person comes from and obstacles they are facing before being able to help them grow. This ability has been one of my greatest strengths when dealing with clients while practicing law and students and players while coaching and teaching. My goal as a coach and a teacher has been to make sure that I listen to the concerns of my players and students to be sure I am helping them grow as people and learn what they need to know to succeed. Listening I think is the most important skill in life. Without listening a person does not know what needs to be addressed in any given situation.
