About Stephen Laughlin

Career in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche LLP since 1985. Currently part of the Professional Practice Network at Deloitte and his day to day responsibilities include consulting with engagement teams on technical accounting and auditing issues and performing engagement quality control reviews. Serve or have served clients ranging from venture backed start-up enterprises to multinational billion dollar organizations in a variety of industries. Extensive experience in SEC reporting and substantial experience advising clients on a variety of business and accounting issues including, revenue recognition, technology license arrangements and other customer contract issues, equity transactions, joint venture and equity investments, and mergers and acquisitions. Have worked with numerous companies through their successful IPO process, debt and secondary offerings, and merger and acquisition transactions. Started career in San Diego, spent 17 years in our San Jose office serving Silicon Valley, and the most recent 5 years in our Los Angeles office.
