Steve is a graduate of UCLA in Economics, with later degrees in Computer Science, was named Fellow, Life Management designation, and earned his MBA with an emphasis on strategic management. Steve has been an executive for multiple NYSE traded firms at the holding company level and for subsidiary mutual fund, brokerage, agency, life insurance, mortgage and retail banking, commercial lines, enterprise risk management, and captive insurance entities. Mr. Locko is a frequent presenter and speaker at association and agency conferences, and also conducts advisor and public workshops on timely financial topics. He has served in the past as an accredited ABA attorney continuing education provider, has participated in national financial planning webcasts, and has now served as contributing editor for three planning books. His work and comments have been published in the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, PlanAdviser and other news and trade journals. Steve credits his loving, smart and beautiful wife Sheila for professional and personal success. They have 3 adult boys, and the guys are happily pursuing their own path of success as an IT Systems Engineer, an Attorney and a Mechanical Engineer.
